Earthquake and Tsunamis of 2004 vs. 09.11.01

It was inevitable.  It's unfortunate, but predictable.  The media have reported comparisons of the current horrid situation in the Indian Ocean to that of the World Trade Center bombing attacks of September 11, 2001. Let's be clear.  Both are horrible.  Unfortunately, both are a fact.  However, that's pretty much where the similarities stop. By no means are the lives of one tradgedy more or less valued than the other, but the sheer number of casualties that they are experiencing in the Indian Ocean area, is already estimated at over 100,000 lives.  That's a factor of around 33 times (and growing) the number that...

Christmas 2004

Welll, another Christmas has come and gone.  I gotta say, it seems to get more hectic each year.  That could be because I'm getting older, I have 3 little boys, or because we legitimately find more things to do each year and get worse about planning it all out.  Whatever the reason, this Christmas still turned out great if not stressful and exhausting in the process. Is this thing on?

Can you hear me now?  :) I'm back.  Not that most folks noticed, but my site had been dark for the last few months...  But I'm finally back up and online - after much pain and frustration, I might add. I have things to say, too.  Not that it's unusual, but I've been storing some thoughts up and there's certainly been enough going on in my life and our world to comment on.  We'll see where it leads us. Ahhh...It feels good to be back.  More soon. Later
