It's been a while, but really, a lot hasn't happened. Sunday School is going well. We've started doing Inductive Bible Study book studies now, with last week being the first one on 1 Timothy. It was the Book Overview class, which is dry but is key to setting the foundation of context for the rest of the study.
In addition, the class has done well responding to the “call to service”. We've asked everyone to take a service area out of the ones we put together, knowing full well that many have overlapping and redundant concepts. We're now starting to get everyone going and getting “legs” to each of these groups. It's exciting what God may have in store for this class.
Other than that, I'm floundering around right now, struggling to come up with lessons each week, work, waiting for the new baby, etc. It's one of those points in time when there seems to be SO much unrest in my life. Throw political and social happenings on top and you have a very uneasy time right now.
I'm going to try to post my IBS lessons on here, probably as full articles rather than posts, if I can refine the quality to a tolerable level. Time will tell.
